A slower itinerary
Meet your fellow travellers and begin your spiritual journey towards Haridwar. In the evening, witness the divine Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, where thousands of lamps illuminate the sacred Ganges. This peaceful ceremony marks the perfect beginning to your pilgrimage.
Travel through Devprayag, Rudraprayag and scenic Himalayan valleys as rivers accompany your journey. Reach Guptkashi by evening and prepare for tomorrow's trek. Enjoy an early dinner and rest.
An early morning drive takes you to Sonprayag and Gaurikund. Begin the 16-18 km trek to Kedarnath at your own pace. For those who prefer not to trek, pony, palki and helicopter services (subject to availability and weather) are available at an additional cost. Reach Kedarnath by evening and soak in the spiritual atmosphere surrounding the temple.
Wake before sunrise for the sacred darshan of Shri Kedarnath Temple. Spend time in prayer before beginning the descent back to Gaurikund. Return to Guptkashi by evening for a well-deserved rest.
Travel back through the beautiful Himalayan valleys to Rishikesh. Enjoy a relaxed evening beside the Ganges and attend the serene Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan if time permits.
After breakfast, begin your return journey. As you leave the Himalayas behind, take home more than photographs—carry with you a renewed sense of peace, gratitude and faith. Your Velora Journey concludes with unforgettable memories.
